This survey is being conducted by Equality Collabs Ltd on behalf of the London Violence Reduction Unit (VRU). We are the data controller for the information you provide.

Special category data including information about racial or ethnic origin, health, and experiences of violence or abuse
Your experiences related to CAPVA, including incidents, impacts, and support received
Your views on services and support for families affected by CAPVA

Understand the prevalence and impact of CAPVA in London
Identify patterns and trends to improve support services
Develop better policies and interventions for families affected by CAPVA
Evaluate the effectiveness of current support services
The legal basis for processing your information is your explicit consent and the substantial public interest in developing effective responses to CAPVA.
Sharing your information
Your information will be:
Anonymised before analysis – we will remove any details that could identify you
Accessible only to the research team and authorised staff
Shared in aggregate form with partners including local authorities and the Violence Reduction Unit
Never used to make automated decisions about you or your family
We will not share your identifiable information with anyone unless:
We have your explicit permission
We are required to do so by law
There is an immediate safeguarding concern
How long we keep your information
We will keep your identifiable information for a maximum of 9 months after the survey closes. After this period, we will retain only anonymised data that cannot be linked back to you.

Request deletion of your information
Withdraw your consent at any time before the survey closes
Make a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Safeguarding information
